“Reaching out to the community”
Since 2015, we have been distributing our excess, high-quality food to organisations in need such as The Link Community Food Care programme, Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter and Dalwood Spilstead.
Every July, we are also privileged to support Superhero Week at Bear Cottage where we provide an enormous spread of Mrs Jones’ treats in recognition of this incomparable service.
Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW. It is a very special place dedicated to caring for children with life-limiting conditions. Families who care for a child with a life-limiting condition often do so around the clock for many years.
Bear Cottage’s vision is to be as far removed from a hospital environment as possible. They are set up to provide excellence in paediatric palliative care 24 hours a day. An affiliation to The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network means they have access to some of the best medical resources in the world.
